Official selection at unofficial Google plus film festival
Yes, Accolades like these are very important to a filmmaker. Specially since the age of DSLR (photography cameras with ability to emulate professional film recording) and HD cameras on almost anything, the amount of filmmakers have exploded. SUNDANCE film festival claimed that they had 10,000 short-film submissions in 2008 already !!! So, being “officially selected” is no more an easy thing.
I try embrace every opportunity that will further my works to more viewers, not hoping some producer will ring me up, but my name be remembered by the viewer who will stop a second when they see my name on any other work.
The unofficial Google + film festival will be aired live on the internet on DEC 3rd followed by a Q&A session with the directors of the selected films. I’m looking forward to his live event. Yes, i’m really looking forward to it.
